Website Showcase: Autumn Granger

So today, just wanted to highlight one of my most loved clients, and by extension: websites. This girl is an amazing photographer, (I should know, she did our wedding). She’s got excellent taste, she’s prompt, full of ideas–and overall, just very good at what she does. It says a lot when you stay contemporary with your craft, and she does this. It says a lot when you don’t just talk about blogging, but you do it–and she does this. It says a lot when you go to India for a photography internship, and all you can eat is bread because everything makes you sick–but you stick it out. And she did this. The website was designed to be easily maintained, (the blog specifically), and to get people’s eyes focused on her photos, cause–after all–she’s a photographer.

You can visit her website here. If you’re looking for your own website I’d love to chat.

The website was built by developing Autumn a custom wordpress theme. The portfolio section was developed to be easy to update, and to add whole new sections without having to consult the back-end. It displays images using a lightbox effect, and using lazy loading script to save bandwidth, and make the user experience a quick one. The blog was built to be easy to update, help the photos shine, and encourage interaction. We’ve made the commenting process as simple as possible and added a like button if you don’t feel like typing anything. PHP \ MySQL, CSS3, HTML5, JQUERY are our building blocks (for the most part). Web development is something we love, and (dare I say) something we’re good at. Hit us up if you’re interested.
